All of our staff are very experienced and receive ongoing training each year to improve their knowledge and expertise. Most of our staff have worked at the pre-school for three years or more and have been trained to a minimum of NVQ 3 in early years education.
We have a minimum of four staff to 24 children at all times. At least three members of staff are qualified to NVQ Level 3. If a child is considered to be in need of one to one support whilst they are at the pre-school an extra assistant maybe be supplied. These measures ensure that all the children are supervised appropriately and that they get a combination of individual support as well as having the opportunity for independent play.
