SAFEGUARDING
At Emscote Pre School, we are wholly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and we believe that keeping children safe is everyone’s business.
We recognise it is our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support and protection. School staff are particularly important as they are in a position to identify concerns early, provide help for children and prevent concerns from escalating.

Local Welfare Scheme
Warwickshire County Council have asked us to make you aware of the Warwickshire local welfare scheme which helps the vulnerable at times of unavoidable crisis when they have no other means of help. The scheme provides basic and essential help for food and energy. This is given either in emergency food parcels or with credit for energy. If you – or anyone you know – is in need of help, there are more details on their website: Warwickshire Local Welfare Scheme.
