We aim to make parents feel involved in their children’s learning and to keep them informed of their child’s progress. Parents are always welcome to stay and participate at any time either on a regular or occasional basis. We also have a keyperson system where each child has a member of staff who takes a particular interest in certain children whilst at pre-school and with whom parents can discuss any problems or queries they may have about their child.
Parent meetings are held each term and parent’s and carers are kept up to date with information about the latest topic via a ‘topic sheet’ which details its various aspects and how parents can help at home. There are also newsletters to keep parents up to date with pre-school events.
"Staff develop meaningful relationships with parents and carers and value their contributions as partners". (Ofsted Report 2009)
